The entire SASTPC would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Professor William Tifft and family for the loss of his wife Janet Ann Tifft who passed away on October 31, 2015. Jan was an exceptional person who touched everyone with happiness and love with her presence. Her passing will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Jan brought so much to our many research discussions throughout the years. She was always eager to have us answer questions and she always brought new ones to the table.
