Vertical lines mark observed locations of the c/2 and 3c/4 quasar peaks and (connected by arrows) redshift segments studied. The upper right frame (book figure 5.10) shows the redshift pattern of the HDF galaxy redshifts (z = 0.44 to 0.64) and their correspondence to specific Lehto-Tifft fractions of c.
