Farzaneh Tahmoorian
Dr. Farzaneh Tahmoorian is a Senior Lecturer at Central Queensland University (CQU) in Australia, with over a decade of experience in construction and related fields. She has contributed to numerous projects involving road construction, landfill development, and waste management. Farzaneh holds an M.Sc. from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a PhD from Western Sydney University. Dr. Tahmoorian's research focuses on incorporating waste materials into asphalt, concrete, and other pavement materials. She is the recipient of the Australian Postgraduate Award and the Western Sydney Top-up Award. As a researcher, Dr. Tahmoorian has published over 25 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers on asphalt mixes and sustainable pavement technologies. Her expertise spans a broad range of topics, including asphalt mix design, binder modification, concrete pavements, ground improvement techniques for roads and railways, pavement engineering, sustainability, circular economy, life cycle analysis, and waste management.
